File this Under: For when you just can’t get your Moons Over My Hammy Fast Enough!

A local media sensation swirled recently with a Denny’s Grand Opening celebration a few weeks back in a sleepy town — Kerman, Ca — that was founded in 1891 as a pitstop to feed thirsty water tanks powering steam locomotives along the Southern Pacific Railroad. Railside water reservoirs might be long gone but in their place reside Denny’s next big development THING. The Kerman location truly offers the full complement of Denny’s world-famous menu including Grand Slamwiches, Mile High Denver Omelettes, Cinnamon Pancakeslams and all the rest. Whatever you want, however you want it, whenever you need it. Naturally, ordering ahead is recommended but you won’t be turned away for ordering your custom T-Bone steak and eggs ala minute. Just bring your phone to thumb through, plenty of patience to spend, and a reality recalibration where you’re paying for a full-service dining experience served up in a plastic clambshell with a free side of sighs. Or wait behind the person doing all of the above. Or just walk inside bleary-eyed, sit down and gulp down a passable meal while people-watching in the yawning hours of the day like a normal person. Just like in the movies and your youthful memories of yore. Order UPPPP!
